Amy’s Pick of the Day is a floral arrangement with a quote from Lady Bird Johnson, who devoted much of her time to gardening and preserving natural landscapes: “Where flowers bloom so does hope.” What a perfect sentiment for Spring!

This season it’s all about making your own inspiring Christmas Cards.  Let these cards be an inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.  Using imagery from The Vintage Workshop and some basic supplies that can be found at your local craft supply store (many of you probably have things around the house already) you can create your own handmade cards this season that will have your friends feeling special.

Here are some helpful tips! Use your imaging software to add your own text to vintage images. Add glitter, mica snow or other embellishments to give your card dimension.  Wonder tape or double sided tape is perfect for all paper projects.

Save money by customizing dollar store cards. By adding vintage imagery to cards that already have a great message, you can get an elegant look without the expensive price tag.

Let us be your resource for timeless imagery and creative inspiration. Until next time…
