The Vintage Workshop has such a vast variety of Christmas images, picking my favorites was almost too difficult.  I wanted to share a variety of my favorite images that go with the holiday season.

The first image of the Poinsettia Girl has been my all time favorite Christmas image since I first saw it. Last year, I used it to make Christmas gift tags. I shrunk it down using my word program on my computer and printed it onto card stock. I then punched a hole in the corner and wrote my To: and From: on the back. I edged it with a gold marker and used red ribbon to attach it to my gifts. It was so beautiful.

I hope these images help get you in the mood for holiday decorating and project making. Until next time…

This season it’s all about making your own inspiring Christmas Cards.  Let these cards be an inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.  Using imagery from The Vintage Workshop and some basic supplies that can be found at your local craft supply store (many of you probably have things around the house already) you can create your own handmade cards this season that will have your friends feeling special.

Here are some helpful tips! Use your imaging software to add your own text to vintage images. Add glitter, mica snow or other embellishments to give your card dimension.  Wonder tape or double sided tape is perfect for all paper projects.

Save money by customizing dollar store cards. By adding vintage imagery to cards that already have a great message, you can get an elegant look without the expensive price tag.

Let us be your resource for timeless imagery and creative inspiration. Until next time…
