We would like to honor Flag Day with Amy’s free pick of the American flag and a quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes.  Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag by the Second Continental Congress in 1977.  In 1916 President Woodrow Wilson officially declared June 14th Flag Day, and was enacted into legislation by Congress in 1949.
