And the Winner is…

Posted by Cheryl

Thanks to everyone who posted a comment on our blog to enter to win the Asian inspired purse using our vintage imagery.  Several have asked if we sell this purse pattern at Indygo Junction and the answer is YES!  The Naomi Bag, IJ703 is available on our website

Now down to business.  The winner chosen at random from our comments is Barbara L. from Avon Lake, Ohio.  Congrats Barbara!

It was great to be able to read all of the comments from everyone and we are taking into consideration of all of the requests.  Look for new projects coming soon. I also wanted to take a moment to let everyone know due to the amount of spam comments that are sent automatically to post on blogs these days, we do have to approve all comments before they can be posted on our website. So if your comment says waiting for approval, please be patient with us.  A staff member will actually read your comment and then approve for posting.  We welcome all comments!!

Until next time…

I love your emails. The vintage fabrics and photos remind me of my childhood .
I would use the fabrics to make quilts for my 2 little grandsons that are going to
be born in november. I also make tote bags and purses fron vintage fabrics. I have
granddaughters that i make doll clothes for. so i would definately put the fabric to good use.

I love your website! Each month I look forward to your free downloads and ideas. The fabric bundles are fantastic. I make “little purses” for my friends’ children to use at school for their supples and lunches. The various fabrics would make great bags for the kids and their moms. Can’t wait to see what’s next on your site.

I love your site! Keep up the fantastic ideas. I really look forward to each month’s news.

  6. I love reading about your ideas and tips for making different things. I absolutely love to make things with your vintage images! They are so neat! I make cards and scrapbooks and use the images for making those. They remind me of my childhood and earlier. They just do not make images like that anymore!! For one thing, I would love to make some lap robes for the residents at the nursing home with the fabric that you are giving away.

What beautiful fabric! My mother will be 90 in May, 2010. I have been searching for the ideal fabric set with which to make her a special quilt. These are fabrics she would love. I shall look for them on eBay. Thank you!
