According to the US Postal Service, Mother’s Day is the single busiest card sending holiday of the year.  Almost everyone has a special woman in their life - whether it’s your mom, aunt, grandmother, sister, mentor, friend, co-worker - that would enjoy receiving a card for Mother’s Day.

In our busy lifestyle, it seems so easy to grab a generic card off the shelf - hoping you can find something that says how you feel about your special person.  But consider for a moment the joy the receiver will feel when they see you took the extra few minutes to create a card by hand with a personal message of how much she means to you.

Our imagery is perfect for creative card making. Our wide variety of feminine imagery - including our newest additions of French fashion illustrations or Fashion Collage - EMT101 used in the card above - helps to set the mood for ladies of all ages.  Simply print your favorite image, mat it using a coordinating paper (or use one of our classic vintage backgrounds) and then adhere it to card stock. Then the fun part - embellishing. Use your favorite vintage or store bought trims, ribbons, buttons, tassels and beads. For the card above, we used decorative paper trim and a added a hand created paper pinwheel using a brass brad.

Look for more creative inspirations for Mother’s Day gifts to come. Until next time…

  1. I love this card. I am a sewer as well as a card maker and this card just really caught my eye as I was scrolling through the blog. Hope you check back to read this comment. This is an older post. That pinwheel is too cute too.
