Celebration of Creativity Country Living Women Entrepreneurs

Posted by Amy

I was fortunate to be recognized by Country Living as one of their Creative Entrepreneurs in 2007 and I traveled to Chicago to participate in the program they offered for aspiring entrepreneurs. It was a wonderful experience! I learned so much from the expert panel discussions and fellow women entrepreneurs. I knew I would return and that I did at the end of May this year. The event has expanded and was located at Navy Pier in Chicago. I traveled solo but saw many friendly faces from the Country Living staff , fellow business owners in my industry, and reconnected with several members of my 2007 class. It was great to meet the new Editor-in-Chief ┬áSarah Gray Miller and discuss some new projects I have in the works. Her enthusiasm and the energy from this amazing group of talented women made the day an exceptional experience. Here are some photos from my 24 hour journey. Here is a link to see photos of our feature in the magazine. I would encourage any of you interested in starting or currently running a small business to attend this event. The information gained is so authentic and valuable…I can’t wait for next year, hope to see you there!

The entrepreneur issue of Country Living is one of my favorites that I truly look forward to gettng each year. (I even have the book). It is an inspiration in that it shows that anyone can make their dreams become a reality and to never give up or loose hope! You are truly deservant of any reward you may have been given!
