October was a busy month! In early October travels took us to Houston, Texas for the International Quilt Market. We exhibit each year at this trade only event. It is our chance to share our new Indygo Junction patterns and books to quilt and fabric arts retailers as well as preview new fabrics and products for the coming months. After almost 20 years of doing this show, we still enjoy going to Houston–a fabulous convention center and bustling downtown make it a great destination for the show…not to mention the wonderful food. The founder of The Vintage Workshop, Amy Barickman, has been a long-time designer of vintage inspired fabric for Red Rooster Fabrics. Over the years our office has become stock piled with all of this beautiful fabric and now we are cleaning house.
First, we would like to offer two lucky blog readers a free set of some of our Vintage Workshop fabrics. Each set includes a one yard piece of each of the 25 coordinating fabrics from a specific collection. The collections we are spotlighting today are - Tres Chic, a bright colored fashion imagery inspired line; and Mary Frances and Thimble Friends, a more rustic colored line inspired by vintage children’s books with a sewing themed.
